So much of violence, bloodshed in panchayat election, It is a shame for the state - WB High court
Over the violence being witnessed in West Bengal ahead of Panchayat Polls, the Calcutta high court in a massive statement questioned the message that the Bengal government is sending outside.
Slamming the govt under Mamata Banerjee's administration, High Court observed it's a matter of shame for the West Bengal government that, there is so much violence and bloodshed ahead of elections.
"The election is to be stopped. The condition is such in panchayat election, so much of violence, unrest, bloodshed. It's a shame for the state. What is the picture going out? I'm concerned with state. People are bitten up, threatened, raped, murdered. We all reasonable persons, lets act reasonably. The poll should be stopped if the bloodbath continues," Calcutta High Court judge said slamming the TMC govt in light of the upcoming Panchayat Polls in West Bengal.
